summary of studio lighting
If you use more light the faster the shutter speed is which makes sharper photos. More light makes smaller apertures which also make sharper photos. Pictures will look sharp using flash than they will using continuous light. Studio flash recycles fast. Light can be manipulated by using umbrellas and soft boxes to diffuse the light. The bottom of the range lights are powerful enough for use with DSLR cameras.
Analyzing- one page of notes
I learned that with a smaller aperture, you can focus on a deeper amount of space within your photo. I also learned that as you are taking a picture on a bright day with an open aperture you should set a fast shutter speed so that light for outside doesn't enter the camera and if the light did the image would be over exposes with light. If its dark than the adapter should be on a slow shutter speed so that the light around you had more time to enter the camera. Simple effective advice here, I can now play a bit more with a bit more understanding of the concepts and that is the basis of the article.
